Financial wellbeing is not about being wealthy. It is about having a sense of security and control over your day-to-day money, being able to absorb a financial shock, and feeling free to make choices that let you enjoy life now while preparing for the future.

Healthy Eating: Small Changes, Big Impact

In a demanding role like An Garda Síochána, healthy eating can often take a back seat. Long shifts and busy schedules can lead to quick food choices that don’t always support your energy or wellbeing. However, small changes can make a big difference. Healthy eating is about balance. Regular meals that include carbohydrates, protein, and plenty of fruit and vegetables help maintain energy, support concentration, and overall health. Planning ahead — such as preparing meals or bringing food to work — can help you stay fueled throughout the day.
