
On duty in the sunshine

As we experience heatwave conditions, please mind yourselves when working in hot weather over the coming days.
Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Adults need about 2 litres of water over 24 hours
Drink more fluids when you feel any dehydration symptoms
Regularly apply water resistant sunscreen to skin that is not covered, using at least factor 30+
Ensure to take adequate breaks if working in prolonged sun exposure.
